Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
IFS ERP Project Manager
to lead the successful delivery of our IFS ERP implementation and related business transformation initiatives. The role requires a strong background in ERP project management, stakeholder engagement, and process optimisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, and delivering measurable value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IFS ERP implementation and enhancement projects.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
* Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
* Facilitate business process workshops and ensure alignment with best practices in IFS ERP.
* Oversee project governance, reporting, and steering committee updates.
* Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues with proactive problem-solving.
* Drive change management activities, ensuring user adoption and minimal disruption to operations.
* Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and mentor project teams, including internal resources and third-party consultants.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven track record of successfully delivering IFS ERP (preferably Cloud, Apps 10/Apps 9) implementations or upgrades.
* Strong ERP project management experience (minimum 5+ years), preferably within manufacturing, engineering, aviation, defence, or service industries.
* Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP).
* Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and project commercials.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to translate business requirements into ERP solutions.
* Hands-on experience with modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, or Projects is advantageous.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) highly desirable.
* IFS ERP certifications (preferred but not essential).
