Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director / Programme‑Level Project Manager to provide strategic leadership across multiple projects or a full programme within the electrical and energy infrastructure sector. Operating at a senior level, you will oversee governance, commercial and contract strategy, technical assurance, programme performance, and stakeholder engagement across complex, high‑value portfolios. This role is suited to seasoned professionals with deep NEC and infrastructure expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at executive and regulatory levels. Job Objectives Associate Directors lead large, complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes with significant autonomy. You will collaborate with client leadership, regulatory bodies, engineering partners, and delivery teams to ensure the successful execution of major electrical and energy infrastructure programmes. As the Associate Directors you will be responsible for: Oversee programme‑level governance, reporting, assurance, and performance management across multiple projects or major workstreams. Lead NEC contract strategy across multiple packages, providing senior direction on contract administration, commercial strategy, change management, and dispute mitigation. Provide senior technical oversight on electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and system‑wide integration. Manage senior stakeholders, including client leadership, regulatory bodies, commercial partners, and multi‑disciplinary design and construction teams. Drive programme‑wide optimisation of risk, cost, and schedule, ensuring consistent performance and proactive issue resolution across the portfolio. Shape delivery strategy, informing long‑term planning, resource strategy, sequencing, and investment priorities. Provide commercial and governance leadership, ensuring adherence to client‑side processes, financial controls, and organisational frameworks. Mentor senior PMs and develop team capability, fostering a high‑performing project management environment across the programme.
