Overview
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a Dresser to work on the upcoming West End musical "THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST" at the Noël Coward Theatre.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the team on the upkeep, repair and alteration of all costumes on the production to maintain the look as designed.
* Dress performers during rehearsals and performances and participate in other performance-related activities.
* Collaborate with the wardrobe department and liaise with all other departments and associated personnel.
Requirements
* Relevant hands-on professional experience in costume.
* High level of sewing skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good organisational and time management abilities.
* Experience in theatre on a large-scale production is desirable.
Work Details
* Start Date: Friday, 12 September 2025.
* Location: Noël Coward Theatre, West End.
* Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday 10 January 2026, or for the run of the Production, whichever is shorter, subject to two weeks' notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
* Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
* Weekly Hours: 6-day working weeks (Monday to Saturday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
