Position: Grounds Person – Private Residence
Location: Mundham, Norfolk
Salary: £14.42 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, 6:30am – 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a prestigious private estate near Loddon, Norfolk. They are seeking a skilled and reliable Grounds Person to join their small, dedicated team.

About the Role:
As a Grounds Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the estate's turf and lawns to the highest standards. This hands-on role includes using a variety of machinery, applying fertilisers, and supporting general estate duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out all aspects of turf care, renovation, and lawn maintenance.
• Operating a range of machinery, from pedestrian mowers to large ride-ons.
• Applying fertilisers and identifying weeds as part of seasonal programmes.
• Supporting with machinery maintenance and general estate duties.
• Taking on occasional handyman and practical tasks around the property.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Strong experience in turf care and general grounds maintenance.
• Confident using a wide range of horticultural machinery.
• A good understanding of fertiliser use and weed control.
• A flexible, can-do attitude with the willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and professional in a private setting.
Desirable:
• Experience working on private estates.
• Knowledge of seasonal horticultural practices.
• Basic handyman skills.
