We are looking for two colleagues to become key members of our Electrical Installation Team, working to support the Team by carrying out a range of electrical installation work across the business, whilst ensuring a safe working environment and high-quality workmanship. We are looking for colleagues wanting to gain a wide variety of experience within a successful and growing team and the opportunity to work alongside a team of Electricians and Apprentices. What will you be doing? The role is full time at our Plocks Farm Site in Bretherton and requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual. Here are some of the tasks that will be expected of the candidate: Assisting the electrical team with their duties Maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others Manual work including installing cables, containment, and other associated electrical hardware Acting as a banksman for colleagues working at height Gathering and moving parts from the site stores to the work area What skills we are looking for? The candidates applying for the role must be reliable and must be team players, with a can-do attitude. You must be able to work under pressure and use your initiative when required to. We are looking for individuals who are physically fit and able to carry out the role, who have attention to detail in their work, and provide quality installation results. At GA we invest in our colleagues those candidates applying must be willing to take on any training required. The following would also be desirable for the role or otherwise training will be provided: A driving license (Preferred but not essential, but would be an advantage due to our multiple site locations) IPAF and PASMA trained, although this can be provided for the right candidates. Salary/Package Annual salary up to £29,961 depending on experience. 28 days paid holiday including Bank Holidays, plus 6 optional additional unpaid days, giving 34 days holiday.
