About Tangent We’re Tangent – a digital agency helping big names like Vodafone, REED, The Ned and Guide Dogs build better experiences, products, and platforms. We’ve grown fast (doubled in size in the past year), and we’re just getting started ! The role We’re looking for a curious and creative Marketing & Growth Executive to join our team. You’ll help us bring Tangent to life and cover more ground across marketing campaigns, social content, and outbound sales initiatives. It’s a hybrid role, supporting both our Head of Marketing and Head of Growth — so you’ll get exposure to all sides of how an agency grows. That means one day you might be coordinating a video shoot for a campaign or a writing content for social channels, and the next you could be researching target clients or crafting an outbound message on LinkedIn to find the next big client for Tangent. It’s a great role for someone at the early stage of their career or someone who already has agency experience and is looking to find their next challenge! What you'll be doing Marketing - which means raising awareness, fostering engagement and generating leads for the business across the full mix of B2B channels Work with our Head of Marketing to shape campaign ideas and bring them to life Write and develop emails, social posts, landing pages and other marketing content across all channels using HubSpot Support video content production – helping with planning, storyboarding and logistics and where there is opportunity film/edit content too Write briefs for our in-house designers (or external agencies/freelancers) and help manage deadlines Keep our website updated and looking sharp with a keen eye for SEO Spot relevant trends and use them to shape timely content Support on award entries, PR activities, events, paid social and other marketing ops Growth - which is all about building a solid sales pipeline and helping win new clients! Support our outbound sales efforts – helping personalise outreach through LinkedIn and email Research potential clients, sectors and relevant industry news Help keep our CRM (HubSpot) up to date and useful Work closely with marketing to build target lists and run campaigns What we are looking for You don’t need years of experience – just some hands-on exposure to either marketing or sales, and a genuine interest in learning both. We’ll teach you the rest. We’d love to see: Strong writing skills – you can craft a message clearly and creatively Solid organisation – you can juggle priorities and keep things on track An eye for detail – whether it’s in grammar, creative or data Curiosity and initiative – you ask good questions and give things a go A bit of creative flair – you’re not afraid to share ideas or try something new Bonus points if you have (Not essential – we’ll train you up!)
