Role Summary:
A Warehouse Assistant is responsible for varied daily tasks, as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager, such as processing and packing orders, restocking shelves, counting inventory, and ensuring orders are shipped quickly. A Warehouse Assistant needs to be able to use computer programs such Microsoft Word, Excel and the Company's bespoke order and stock management system.
Duties Include:
· Fulfil outgoing orders in an accurate and timely manner:
o Pick outgoing orders
o Check products marry orders
o Pack parcels to a high business standard using efficient and environmental factors
o Dispatch orders and update computer systems accordingly
· Stock management:
o Conduct set stock checks and update computer systems accurately
o Rotate stock to set company standards
· Process incoming deliveries:
o Check incoming Purchase Orders off Dispatch Notes
o Update the stock computer system accordingly
o Highlighting any discrepancies with line supervisor/manager
· Assemble "kits" on the computer system and physically accurately
· Printing:
o Print logbooks, catalogues, and all paper literature for orders
o Print labels for all relevant products and pallets
o Refill printers with paper when necessary
o Highlight any printer issues to line supervisor/manager
· Maintain a safe and efficient working environment:
o Keep a tidy workspace
o Complete warehouse morning set up routine like bins outside, electrics on etc and afternoon close down procedure like bins in, waste in appropriate bin, electrics off etc.
o Conduct all duties in relation to Health and Safety and company guidelines
· Other duties:
o Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
o Co-ordinate with other departments to get accurate information for orders
o If forklift trained, use to company and health and safety guidelines
o Fulfil any additional objectives and directions from senior management/ Line Manager / Line supervisor
o Great time keeping

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Experience:
* Warehouse management system: 1 year (preferred)
