Role: Residential Service Cook (Poplars)
Location: Mirfield, WF14 0DQ
Salary: £12.31/hr
Hours: 20hrs per week, including alternate weekends. Shift times 10:00am – 3pm.

Key responsibilities:
1. To prepare and cook nutritious meals for the adults in the service.
2. To follow IDDSI guidelines, ensuring that food is prepared to the right consistency for each individual. (Training given)
3. To create and maintain a recipe book that social care staff can follow in your absence.
4. To support social care staff and individuals to prepare meals and snacks in line with Food Safety.
5. To maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and appliances to a standard required to meet the food safety regulations.
6. To create a weekly menu by involving the adults and ensuring that the menu meets individual dietary requirements.
All training will be given, and you do not need to be a driver to apply for this role. We are particularly interested in recieving applications from candidates who have experience in health and social care, although this is not essential.
