The Role
We’re seeking a skilled Conveyancer to manage a caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion. You will have the autonomy to handle files independently, with access to full administrative and compliance support. The role can be office-based at either our Accrington or Darwen office, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
Responsibilities
* Managing a full caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, and right-to-buy matters
* Drafting contracts, reports, transfer deeds, and completion statements
* Reviewing title documents, raising and responding to enquiries
* Ordering searches and reviewing results
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
* Ensuring full compliance with SRA and CQS protocols, AML procedures, and regulatory requirements
* Working closely with CMB Group estate agencies to deliver a seamless client experience
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years’ experience handling residential conveyancing matters (as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive)
* Ability to manage a caseload independently, with minimal supervision
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and client service skills
* Familiarity with case management systems and digital processes
* A team player who wants to grow with an ambitious and supportive firm
