National Account Manager
Permanent/Full time
£48,000 to £50,000 DOE bonus car/car allowance benefits

This role focuses on achieving planned growth from target accounts, developing new opportunities in your market, and winning new customers across a defined geography. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Financials
1. Achieve sales and profit targets on assigned accounts.
2. Drive turnover across existing and new customers.
3. Follow quotes through to orders and maintain pricing agreements.
Business Development
4. Build a strong pipeline within the catering and foodservice sector.
5. Win new customers using a consultative sales approach.
6. Follow up leads proactively and prepare quality sample presentations.
Account Management
7. Manage orders through to delivery, ensuring excellent customer experience.
8. Visit customer sites regularly, create joint business plans, and maintain accurate data.
9. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, credit, purchasing) to ensure smooth account performance.
10. Produce weekly itineraries, monthly reports, and support RFQs/Tenders.
Operational Excellence
11. Solve problems using factual information and logical decision-making.
12. Manage bespoke stock levels and ensure contracts/Heads of Terms are in place.
13. Work with manufacturers to maximise commercial opportunities.

19. Able to commute to one of the head office locations: South West, West Midlands or North West.
Skills & Experience
20. Ideally degree-educated or able to learn quickly.
21. Experience in foodservice, catering or related sector is beneficial.
22. Minimum 3 years' account management with a proven sales track record.
23. Strong communication, numeracy and IT skills.
24. Full UK driving licence.
25. Ability to influence at all levels and manage sensitive information.
