Overview
Health Records Clerk role within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The post supports effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients in a ward environment, ensuring health records are administered and processed accurately and remain confidential.
Responsibilities
* Provide cover in multiple wards as required.
* Reception of patients, answer telephone, book appointments, and maintain demographic information on the patient management system.
* Support an efficient Health Records service in a ward environment and ensure patient health records are administered, processed accurately and confidentially.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Essential that the candidate has previous clerical/reception experience along with experience of working with the general public in a customer service environment.
* Good organisational, keyboard and communication skills are essential, along with being proficient in the use of computer systems.
Employment details
This is a GGC-wide post that can be moved to any location, with the initial base at Royal Alexandra Hospital. This post is permanent. It may close sooner than the advertised date depending on level of interest in the post.
