Our client are recruiting their first inhouse HR position to support this growth and ambition. The HRBP will play a key role in this team of exceptional talent who are committed to delivering the very best in quality and expertise across all aspects of the business.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded and pragmatic HR Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people strategy, ensuring it aligns with ambitious business objectives.
This standalone role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, build frameworks, and lay the foundations for a high-impact HR function. You will work closely with the CEO and the Board, contributing to strategic decisions while shaping key initiatives like the internship and graduate programmes, as well as developing retention strategies that drive employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Collaborating with leadership to develop and execute the people strategy aligned with business goals.
* Lead the design and delivery of early careers programmes (internships and graduates) to support business growth.
* Create and embed career progression frameworks and transparent performance management processes.
* Develop and implement a retention strategy to boost employee engagement and growth.
* Provide expert HR advice and coaching to leadership teams across the business.
* Champion and implement cultural initiatives that reinforce our values.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that scale with our business.
* Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all HR practices.
* Use HR metrics to inform decision-making and ensure continuous improvement.
Who we are looking for
This is a unique opportunity to join an aspirational business in the early stages. You will be able to demonstrate some if not all of the below.
* Proven experience in a standalone or senior HR generalist/HRBP role with the ability to work autonomously.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.
* Experience of building HR frameworks, programmes, and policies from scratch.
* Deep understanding of employee engagement, development, and retention strategies.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* A proactive and pragmatic mindset with a hands-on approach.
* Degree qualified with a strong academic background.
