Security & QA Analyst
£37,113 - £41,237 depending on experience. Home based (with occasional travel to Worcester/Solihull office as required). Permanent, Full Time.

We're currently looking for a Security & QA Analyst with strong experience in security and QA testing to join our brilliant IT team here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, where we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.
As our Security & QA Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and implementing testing and evaluation procedures, ensuring software systems function correctly, and under all security scenarios, by conducting regular security assessments and implementing robust security measures.
You will also be carrying out automation and regression testing on internally developed tools and applications, in conjunction with the Application Development Team. Collaborating with various departments, including IT and development teams, as part of the DevSecOps process to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Key Qualifications
* Strong experience of QA and Security testing within Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service, F&O and Azure Logic Apps
* Knowledge of programming languages, SQL, KQL and scripting
* Understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorisation
* A strong, demonstratable understanding of automated testing tools
* Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
* Substantial experience of producing reports and management information, including making recommendations for changes needed to ensure successful delivery
* Experience working with Development Teams and Product Owners to execute security and performance testing
* Well-rounded communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, ability to influence and motivate others
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise workload
* CISSP, CISA, CQAP, CTFL and CSQA desirable but not essential, Disability Confident

Whilst this role is predominantly home-based, there will be regular travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, so flexibility will be required.
