Overview
Job Title: Project Engineer at JBT Corporation. Location: Proseal UK (secondment to Proseal US). Reporting To: Head of Projects, UK. Shift Pattern/Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks each day.
Responsibilities
* Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
* Oversee projects from specification through to installation, commissioning, and training of the team
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
* Track project milestones and deliverables against budget
* Gain a full and comprehensive knowledge of the inner workings of the UK and US planning board, this will include understanding product entries at the planning stage, manufacturing capabilities based on current machinery lead-times, eBOM parts lists, department responsibilities and understanding the importance of concise delivery instruction and planning.
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the plan and escalate a required.
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
* Maintain a close working communication with the key contacts within Proseal America in order to provide the best possible ‘experience’ of customer-supplier relationship.
* Machine Testing - Operate a pivotal role in providing the business with a well-documented testing procedure for all relevant machinery in preparation for customer’s site.
* For comprehensive testing the applicant must have, or be working towards, a broad and wide-ranging knowledge of the Proseal machinery fleet. An understanding of ELV control techniques and process flow is also essential.

* Maintain a positive outlook within the Proseal working environment. The candidate should be well placed to assist less experienced members of staff with strong technical knowledge and insight.

Experience
* At least 5 years engineering experience specifically tray sealing machine technology
* Previous experience of a fast-paced manufacturing organisation
* Has advanced knowledge and skills including technical or functional expertise, business acumen, financial analysis skills, risk management, delegation skills, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
