Position Details

Job Title: Room Leader

Hours: Full Time, up to 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £14.20
*
Working Hours: 7:00 AM - 6:15 PM (varied shift patterns required)
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments.
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks.
* Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification
*
Essential: Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years
*
Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position
*
Desirable: Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating
*
Essential: Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements
*
Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English
