Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Head Housekeeper based at Balbirnie House Hotel in Glenrothes. The Head Housekeeper will oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and public areas maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. Responsibilities include managing the housekeeping team, organizing schedules, maintaining inventory and supplies, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves liaising with guests to address their needs and enhance their stay.
Qualifications
Proficient in organization skills and inventory management
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Experience in laundry operations and maintenance
Ability to train and manage housekeeping staff effectively
Knowledge of health and safety compliance within the hospitality industry
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management is advantageous
