Commercial Surveyor
Cumbernauld based with a balance of home and office working
GBP 55,353 : GBP 58,266 per year

We have an opportunity for a Commercial Surveyor to join our team based at one of our Cumbernauld Office locations. The Purpose of this role is to effectively support and operate within the Sanctuary Property Services Central Commercial Surveying and Estimating Function in line with Property Services and the Groups objectives, critically assessing proposed works within set parameters for financial and strategic compatibility to ensure they meet the needs of the Groups customers and wider community and provide support Contractor and Supplier Management objectives.

Work within set processes and procedures to ensuring optimised Commercial and Operational Performance and all works proposals represent excellent Value for Money for Group and our Customers as well as meeting all Regional Commercial/Operational/Financial objectives

Diligently enact, on the behalf of Regional Operations, budget measures over agreed the workstreams, cost thresholds and manage Approval Process within set Delegated Authority limits

Working with Regional Commercial Teams, manage and ensure that all variations to works are appropriately captured, priced and approved whilst providing as hoc commercial support to wider Property Services functions

Contribute to the development and introduction of improved end:to:end processes and procedures over the Purchasing of Goods and Services within Property Services

Support the Property Services Contractor and Supplier Management objectives with Regional and Procurement Teams via the provision of robust Performance Data and Reports
:
Support in the provision of accurate management information and analysis to the functions Commercial Manager including, and not limited to, KPI performance versus agreed SLAs on functions processes

To support the Commercial function in optimising operating surplus and mitigating any risk to the Group and actively identify significant risks and opportunities

Communicate effectively and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure any issues are identified and dealt with appropriately

Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Groups values and objectives
