Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with potential estate agents and other businesses. Your primary focus will be on creating relationships and getting referrals. This position requires excellent communication abilities in both English making you an invaluable asset in reaching a diverse clientele.
We're hiring a proactive Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to build referral partnerships and generate qualified leads from high-street estate agents, chartered surveyors, and mortgage brokers across the UK. This is a field-first role: you'll be out meeting offices, hosting short "lunch & learn" sessions, and ensuring every contact is captured in our CRM for ongoing nurture.
What You'll Do
* Prospect & visit estate agent/surveyor/mortgage broker offices per week nationwide.
* Bussiness Events: create relationships through different business events
* Present value clearly: explain spray foam risks, removal process, guarantees, and typical timelines; position Countrywide as the trusted, national contractor.
* Host CPD-style "lunch & learn" sessions to drive awareness and referrals.
* Distribute printed packs and follow up promptly.
* Capture every contact in the CRM with clean data and next actions; coordinate with the office team on newsletters and offers.
* Develop regional coverage plans (route planning, territory mapping, event attendance, local networking groups).
* Maintain a rolling pipeline of referral partners; nurture relationships to increase the frequency and quality of leads.
* Collaborate with Marketing on collateral and case studies; provide field feedback and success stories.
* Own your numbers: weekly activity reporting, pipeline health, and forecasted jobs.

Skills & Experience
* Proven field sales / BDR or partnership development experience (property services, construction, building materials, insurance, or related B2B helpful).
* Confident presenter—able to run short CPD-style sessions and simplify technical topics.
* Relationship builder with strong follow-up discipline and a consultative approach.
* CRM-driven (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar): data accuracy, activity tracking, and forecasting.
* Route planning & territory management skills; comfortable with frequent travel and occasional overnights.
* Excellent communication & writing skills; professional, credible, and resilient.
* Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Package & Benefits
* Base salary: £26,000–£35,000
* Commission/bonus OTE: £5,000–£15,000
