Job Description:
Senior professional responsible for leading risk and compliance reviews in coordination with the broader CFRT (Credit Fraud Review Team). The overall objective is to provide direction on research and filing of SAR (Suspicious Activity Reports), develop operational standards, and communicate with other business areas about SAR activities. This role manages operational planning and performance and performs relevant management tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Organize and lead a team of 100-150 employees, including front-line managers investigating accounts with suspected fraud to determine SAR filing requirements.
* Manage and develop a diverse team across multiple locations responsible for investigating, preparing, and filing Suspicious Activity Reports.
* Oversee the entire SAR management process from start to finish.
* Conduct investigations of high-risk clients and coordinate with AML monitoring units.
* Advise senior management on SAR filing status and trends.
* Drive team productivity, service levels, and regulatory compliance, and analyze process improvement opportunities.
* Ensure high-quality case work and accountability within the team.
* Exercise independent judgment and act as SME to stakeholders.
* Stay updated on operational processes and best practices.
* Build partnerships with various operational leaders to align efforts and optimize business solutions.
* Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding Citi’s reputation, and managing control issues transparently.
Qualifications:
* 6+ years’ experience in enhanced due diligence reviews of high-risk accounts preferred.
* Previous supervisory experience required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with online search tools.
Education:
* Bachelor’s/University degree preferred.
Additional Details:
Role based in London, UK, with responsibilities including managing large teams, overseeing SAR processes, and ensuring compliance. Salary range is $93,000 - $140,000, with additional benefits.
