Join a growing and dynamic regional office in York as a Construction Planner, playing a key role in shaping the success of new build and refurbishment projects valued up to £10 million. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll have a strategic impact across a diverse portfolio, including Commercial, Medical, Retail, and Office developments.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the effective planning and scheduling of construction activities from pre-construction through to project completion. Collaborating with delivery and commercial teams, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
* Create and manage baseline schedules and integrate with project controls.
* Produce and coordinate pre-construction and live construction plans.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Site Teams to monitor, update, and revise programmes as required.
* Analyse project performance post-completion to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
* Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
About You
* Proven experience in planning roles within the construction sector.
* Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject (essential).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
