About the Role We're looking for a Senior Pricing Specialist to be the driving force behind a high-performing team, someone who thrives on responsibility and making things happen. In this pivotal role, you'll be the supporting the team manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the pricing function. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day team performance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and providing hands-on support and leadership. You’ll be the go-to expert for escalations, a trusted deputy when leadership calls, and a proactive contributor to ongoing improvement and change. Your Responsibilities As Senior Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Monitoring team workloads and performance to ensure SLA adherence and service quality. Providing coaching, guidance, and support to team members to drive continuous improvement. Acting as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive pricing and onboarding queries. Supporting the team manager with rota planning, workload allocation, and resource cover during absences. Deputising for the team manager as required, including attending meetings and reporting to stakeholders. Assisting in the implementation of new processes, systems, or change initiatives. Producing and interpreting reports to inform decision-making and highlight performance trends. To be successful within our team, we are looking for: Proven experience in a pricing, revenue management, or commercial operations role, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or property sectors. Demonstrated ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and support team performance against SLAs. Experience handling complex customer or stakeholder queries with professionalism and clarity. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience in coaching or mentoring team members. Although standouts will also have: Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role. Familiarity with rota planning and workload scheduling tools. Knowledge of holiday lettings or property onboarding processes. Experience working in a change-driven environment or supporting change management initiatives. Proficiency in pricing tools, CRM systems, and Excel-based reporting.
