Occupational Hygiene Technical Consultant – initial 8-week contract to start immediately
£500 per day (outside IR35) + 100% remote working
We are looking to engage with a qualified Occupational Hygiene Technical Consultant for an initial 6–8-week contract supporting an individual on sick-leave. Ideally, working 4-5 full days a week for the duration of the contract, this will suit a professional with other clients, who is happy to add further contract work to their portfolio.
Working from home, you will be supporting the technical review team to quality control outgoing work, review survey reports and ensure that clients receive the required levels of technical service in accordance with Company procedures and within agreed timescales
Occupational Hygiene Technical Consultant responsibilities include:
* Review workplace air monitoring surveys, occupational noise exposure surveys, and vibration surveys carried out by our occupational hygiene team.
* Release, revise and reject those reports as appropriate, feeding back to consultants and managers as appropriate.
* Attend technical meetings where required, presenting to the team on key trends and learning observed within quality control.
* Support the occupational hygiene team with technical enquiries about their work and projects.
* Support the sales and account management teams with technical information to inform their proposals and clients.
Occupational Hygiene Technical Consultant profile:
* LFOH or ideally CFFOH/CMFOH Diploma of Professional Competence in Occupational Hygiene
* A Degree or MSc in Occupational Hygiene or similar relevant discipline
* Min 8-10yrs experience in Occupational Hygiene
* Able to deliver and advise on all areas of Occupational Hygiene, primarily WAM, Noise and LEV as an SME (Subject Matter Expert)
* Technical experience reviewing workplace air monitoring surveys, occupational noise exposure surveys, and vibration surveys.
* Proven analytical capabilities and the ability to deal with numbers/KPIs
* Strong commercial awareness, leadership and consultative communication skills
