Key Responsibilities in the Account Manager Role
Reporting to your line manager, your focus will be on meeting and exceeding annual objectives in the following areas:
* Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact
* Identify client needs and proactively provide solutions to develop growth opportunities
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver client requirements to the highest standards
* Monitor account performance, resolve queries efficiently, and ensure all service level agreements are met or exceeded
* Maintain up-to-date records and provide regular reports on account activity
* Support business development, onboarding, and project delivery as required
* Stay informed of industry changes and compliance requirements, ensuring best practices at all times
Skills And Experience We Value In An Account Manager
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
* Experience within either/both of the HR/Health & Safety consultancy industries would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to build rapport, earning client trust to maintain long‑term relationships
* Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to challenges and change
* Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Previous experience in account management, client services, or a related field is desirable
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a dynamic team
