You will be responsible for raising standards, developing schemes of work, monitoring student progress and ensuring pupils benefit from an ambitious and well-planned curriculum.The successful Head of Design & Technology will have Qualified Teacher Status, strong subject knowledge and a proven record of improving student outcomes. You will be confident using assessment data, planning intervention, developing staff and maintaining high expectations for behaviour, presentation and achievement.You will also lead and support teachers, trainee teachers and technicians within the department, ensuring high standards of professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement.
