Job Description
Hours of work: 37 per week. Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service). As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata. Fixed term for: 18 months.

Responsibilities
* Learn how to work in a nursery and school environment supporting the teaching and learning of pupils in nursery and early years, working with experienced and supportive colleagues.
* Learn to work with a team and as an individual.
* Observation and assessment by professional teachers and assessors take place throughout the term of apprenticeship to build upon your levels of understanding leading toward your qualification.
* Support children's learning in lessons. The apprenticeship will run for 18 months and would suit a school leaver.
* Work Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day between 08:30 a.m. – 04:00 p.m., with a 30 minute unpaid daily lunch break, term-time only. Be part of the wider school team, benefit from a range of training and development opportunities, and work closely with teaching staff to ensure a safe, stimulating and caring environment. Visits to the school are encouraged.
