Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Women's Mental Health
We're recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist women's mental health service supporting individuals with complex needs across secure and open rehabilitation settings.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering recovery‐focused, occupation‐led interventions that support service users to build independence and meaningful life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop person‐centred care plans
* Deliver individual and group‐based therapeutic interventions
* Promote occupational engagement and recovery within the ward environment
* Work closely with MDT colleagues to manage risk and support positive outcomes
* Actively involve service users in their treatment planning and care journey
* Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and audit
Requirements
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Minimum 2 years' post‐qualification experience in mental health
* Confident working both autonomously and as part of an MDT
* Strong commitment to recovery‐focused, person‐centred care
