About the Company
Our client is a leading power solutions contractor, delivering high-quality electrical projects across the UK and Europe. They specialise in data centre construction and are expanding their team to develop future leaders within the business.
The Role As a Junior Electrical Project Manager, you will work closely with senior project managers to deliver large-scale data centre projects. This role offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and a clear career progression path, with the expectation of stepping into a full Project Manager role within 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
* Support senior project managers in the delivery of electrical packages on data centre projects
* Assist in planning, coordination, and management of on-site activities
* Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers under the guidance of senior staff
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and schedules
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
* Electrical Engineering background (degree, HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent)
* 1–3 years’ experience in an electrical role (site or project management exposure desirable)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ambitious and motivated to develop into a Project Manager role
