You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective berthing of traction and rolling stock while striving to improve quality standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Production Managers, Senior Production Manager, and the Depot Team), plan train formation changes, record vehicle numbers, monitor shunting activities, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:•
Planning train formation changes
Authorising all movements within the Depot.
Recording vehicle numbers, arrival, and departure times.
Monitoring all shunting activities to ensure compliance with current standards.
Carry out rules assessments as required; (if qualified)
Monitoring and controlling washplant activities.
Validating train formations.
Maintaining logs as required.
Carrying out shunting duties as and when required.
