Job Description
As IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* Processing new business for advisers/planners, completing trades/fund switches, liaising with product providers and ensuring new business is administered correctly
* Administration support for valuations, transfers and client reviews in preparation for client meetings
* Liaising with client and advisers with updates, changes and all matters relating to their financial matters
* Maintaining the accuracy of client data on the system, ensuring all compliance regulations are being met
* Invoicing clients for work completed
* Providing policy documents to client where appropriate
* Providing administration support to advisers following meetings with clients with agreed timescales
* Highlighting breaches or complaints to the Compliance Manager as quick as possible
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
* Knowledge of financial products and funds
* Experience of report writing, valuations and appraisals would be ideal
* Strong administration skill set
* Great communication skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Up to date with current FCA Legislation would be ideal
* Relevant qualifications include Certificate in Financial Services/Planning
