Job Description
The Learning and Development Officer will be responsible for:
* Training Program Development: Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement effective training programs and materials.
* New Employee Onboarding: Ensure that new employees receive comprehensive onboarding training, helping them integrate seamlessly into our company culture.
* Skills Enhancement: Identify skills gaps within the workforce and develop training initiatives to address these gaps.
* Compliance Training: Ensure that employees receive necessary compliance and safety training to meet industry regulations.
* Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
* Training Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback, making improvements as needed.
* Learning Technology: Stay current with learning technologies and tools to enhance the training experience.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
* Professional Development: Encourage and support continuous learning and development for all employees.
* Collaboration: Work closely with HR and department heads to align training initiatives with organisational goals.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Learning and Development Office will have:
* A proven track record in learning and development.
* Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.
