Position: Mobile M&E Engineer
As a Mobile M&E Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in various commercial and industrial settings. This is a field-based position, requiring you to travel between client sites within Slough and Berkshire.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, lighting, generators, and other critical equipment.
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system functionality.
* Performing routine inspections and adhering to the company’s health and safety standards.
* Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and resolving issues efficiently.
* Collaborating with a team of engineers and coordinators to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
* Completing accurate and detailed reports on maintenance and repair tasks.
* Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in M&E engineering.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an M&E Engineer or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their maintenance procedures.
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues.
* Full UK driving license.
Salary and Benefits:
