Job Overview
The Operations Manager will lead our Montrose division, overseeing service delivery, operational management, and team development with a strong focus on Offshore Wind. This is a senior leadership role that will play a key part in expanding our regional footprint and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance.
Duties
* Lead and manage daily operations for the Montrose base.
* Oversee the mobilisation of offshore personnel and resources to support O&M, hookup, and commissioning activities.
* Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the Offshore Wind sector.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (NORSOK, DNV, ISO, etc.).
* Take full responsibility for P&L, budget control, and resource planning.
* Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of offshore and onshore staff.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Offshore Wind and related sectors.
* Promote and uphold a strong safety culture in all activities.
Skills
* Strong technical background (Engineering, Coatings, Inspection, or related
* discipline).
* Proven offshore experience, ideally supported by GWO and offshore survival
* certification.
* Demonstrable experience within Offshore Wind, preferably in O&M, Fabric Maintenance, or hook-up/commissioning.
* Strong understanding of IRATA Rope Access operations and standards.
* Proven leadership and operational management capability.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and deliver profitability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to balance operational detail with strategic oversight.
