Bayview House Care Home for Older Adults are looking for a full time Social Care Assistant to join their team.
The post will require you to support vulnerable adults in a residential setting and to contribute to the movement and treatment of clients to maximise their physical comfort.
You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates should be able to provide evidence of a good basic education, good written communication and report writing skills.
Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential. Applicants are required to have SVQ 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent and to commit to be registered with the SSSC.
This is a Fixed Term full time post of 37 hours per week to April 2026 working as per service requirements.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a or a NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
