Main duties of the job
* Working alongside members of the MDT to provide individualised plans of care for patients.
* Assessing, creating, and following holistically created care plans for patients.
* Administering medications.
* Working alongside the existing ward team to create a safe, efficient flow of patients through the department.

Person Specification
Meets requirements
* Registered Nurse with NMC registration in the appropriate branch
* Strong clinical skills/knowledge within the specialty or relevant training experience
* Up-to-date knowledge of professional issues
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for safe, effective care delivery
* Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Meets some requirements
* Experience of being 'in charge' of a shift
* Qualified mentor (mentorship award or equivalent) or working towards it
