Hayward Hawk are delighted to be working once again with our client to help recruit for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Assistant in Belfast. This is apart-time role working 3 days a week. What you'll do Oversee the end-to-end process of customer billing and debt collection, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts Support the monitoring of daily cash flow and assist with reconciliation of banking transactions Contribute to the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Manage supplier interactions, including logging incoming invoices, reconciling statements, and addressing discrepancies Coordinate and execute scheduled payment batches in line with company policies Perform ad hoc financial duties and administrative support as directed by the finance leadership team What you'll need Competence with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with data effectively Confident communicator with professional telephone skills, able to manage both client and supplier interactions Familiarity with financial or ERP software systems; experience within a manufacturing or production-led environment is advantageous Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset Hear more?
