Location: Burton Upon Trent (DE15)
Pay Rate: 95-105 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are seeking a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Staffordshire (DE15). The school supports pupils with autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and associated behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing team making a genuine impact.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs.
* Use strategies to aid communication and manage behaviour positively.
* Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs under teacher guidance.
* Encourage social and emotional development alongside academic progress.
Qualifications
* Experience supporting children with autism, learning difficulties, or behavioural needs.
* Patience, empathy, and a calm, encouraging approach.
* Strong communication skills, particularly when supporting speech and language.
* A proactive team player who is committed to pupil progress and wellbeing.
