Pay: up to £12.71 per hour Job Description: The Copthorne Hotel Cardiff is seeking Casual Food and Beverage Assistants As a Casual F&B assistant your key responsibilities include : ·To report for duty punctually at the time specified on the weekly rota, in full uniform in accordance with the Image Standards. ·To undertake all cleaning duties as specified in cleaning rota. ·To understand all items on the menu, including recipes, accompaniments, and service. ·To be familiar with all alcoholic beverages available from the bar their correct service in accordance with Weights and Measures Act 1985. ·To serve all foods in the manner specified in food service specification. As a Casual F & B assistant, the essential skills required: ·Creates Enthusiasm: Operating with a good deal of energy, intensity and emotional expression. ·Follows Procedures: Adopting a systematic and organised approach; preferring to work in a precise, methodical manner; developing and utilising guidelines and procedures. ·Empathic: Demonstrating an active concern for people and their needs by forming close and supportive relationships with others. As a Casual Bar Staff team member, your main duties will be: · The service of food and beverage products in the restaurant, working within the bar, breakfast or evening restaurant team, or Meetings & Events working weddings, functions and other events · Being able to confidently communicate all our food and beverage offerings available to customers. · Accurately dealing with all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines. · Providing a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly.
