Responsibilities
:
· Developing a clear comprehension of assigned projects, in particular with respect to project specific business drivers.
· Developing and maintaining good working relationships with key customer personnel involved in equipment purchasing and key personnel within relevant engineering contractors and industry consulting groups. Ability to establish relationships at E Level and with key decision makers.
· Positioning of relevant process technologies and equipment offerings with a view to ensuring UOP’s success as well as maximizing sales revenue.
· Developing strategies and value propositions for assigned projects in consultation with UPT sales management, UPT sales support groups, and the other Honeywell businesses whose products or services are involved.
· Managing the preparation and finalization of commercial proposals and agreements in consultation with UPT sales management.
· Playing a lead role in the negotiation and closure of projects. Concluding non-disclosure, license, engineering, guarantee, product/equipment supply agreements with support from legal team. Experience in drafting and negotiating favorable payment terms and payment securities.
· Ability to develop and close big and complex projects (multi-unit complexes, NPIs, BTIs)
· Delivering financial targets, including sales revenue, cost of sales and services, and account receivables.
· Preparing of won/lost reports for all sales events assigned. Preparing Opportunity Plans for all sales events exceeding 1M as per guidance of UPT Regional Sales Director.
· Participate and contribute to the review of customer account plans and maintain customer contact records.
· Maintain strong relationships with customers and European EPCs + H2 licensors assigned by UPT Regional Sales Director.
Key requirements:
· BSc or equivalent In Engineering (chemical or mechanical)
· Experience in sales to the Refining and/or Petrochemicals and/or Gas Industries Experience preferably within a commercial role, with exposure to direct sales.
· The position requires travel (~50% of time) as required for customer meetings and some associated personal flexibility.
· Solid sales experience, from sourcing leads to close
