Job Title: Deburrer Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £42,000 + shift allowance Contract: Fixed Term Role Overview - Deburrer An established engineering manufacturer is expanding its operations and is looking for a hands‑on Deburr Operator to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, can adapt to shift patterns, and takes pride in producing high‑quality components for safety‑critical applications. As a Deburr Operator, you’ll be responsible for the final finishing of precision‑machined parts by removing burrs, smoothing edges, and perfecting surface finishes. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of components used in advanced engineering environments. This role is on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract and will require you to work on a Double Day (AM/PM) shift pattern. Key Responsibilities - Deburrer Remove burrs and sharp edges from machined components using hand tools and power tools. Carry out polishing, blending and chamfering to achieve required surface and dimensional quality. Interpret technical drawings and work instructions accurately. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges and visual inspection tools. Record inspection results and report any non‑conforming parts.
