Job Description
Role: General Practice Manager
Location: Brighton
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours / 5 days per week (minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week considered)
Pay: £45,600 + per annum (depending on experience)

The Requirements
* ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent experience in practice
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS102, FRS102A, and FRS105 reporting standards
* Confident in managing accounts preparation through to final sign-off
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
* Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
* Ambitious and eager to progress within a growing firm
* Experienced in mentoring junior staff and supporting team development
The Role
* Oversee and manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high-quality and proactive accounting and advisory services
* Prepare and review year-end accounts for SMEs under FRS102, FRS102A, and FRS105
* Prepare tax computations and CT600s, and review VAT returns
* Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of accountants and administrative staff
* Identify opportunities to grow existing client portfolios and support new business initiatives
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal quality procedures
* Collaborate with senior management to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency
* Act as the main point of contact for key client relationships, maintaining clear and professional communication
