We are seeking warm, reliable and committed Support Workers to join a small team supporting a 10-year-old boy with an acquired brain injury in his family home. This is a person-centred role focused on promoting his wellbeing, developmental progress and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Engaging play and stimulating activities
Therapy programmes and developmental goals
Personal care and manual handling
Medication administration
Gastrostomy feeding
Epilepsy management and safety monitoring
Full specialist training will be provided.
Shift Pattern:
This is a 24/7 care package covering Monday to Sunday, with a mixture of day shifts and waking nights:
Waking nights: 12-hour shifts (8pm 8am)
Day shifts: typically, 1215 hours including patterns such as 7am 10pm or 8am 8pm
Additional ad-hoc hours may be available
Salary and Benefits:
£15.00 £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Essential Requirements:
Reliable, responsible and enthusiastic approach
Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Good communication skills and ability to follow guidance
Willingness to undertake ongoing training
Must already have the legal right to work in the UK we are unable to offer visa sponsorship

Desirable (not essential):
Previous experience working in the community
Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries
Background in care, education, therapy or SEN environments
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
