Requirements
* This role will support relationships with local Logistics Service Providers across the Norgine European and Export freight, warehousing, and distribution network.
* Liaise with the warehouse team daily to understand transport requirements.
* Coordinate with freight suppliers to confirm outbound transport requirements, maintaining operational flows.
* Maintain the Hengoed transport forecast overview.
* Request and obtain transport quotations for new transit lanes or ad hoc business requests.
* Generate weekly Hengoed pallet forecasts and communicate with third-party warehouses (3PL).
* Arrange ad hoc outbound shipments from and returns to Hengoed.
* Upload third-party logistics providers’ pallet holding data into the Global Distribution dashboard weekly.
* Generate long-term pallet forecasts for communication to all 3PL markets.
* Participate in weekly meetings with transport providers.
* Support audits by locating and providing shipment and delivery data.
* Accountable for data gathering and report creation to support the end-to-end product flow from manufacturing sites to third-party warehouses across EU/UK/OW within a complex freight, warehousing, and distribution network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Deliver against key strategic, service, quality, and innovation targets.
* Contribute to developing a “one Norgine” culture through process and behavior modeling.
* Participate in GD team governance activities.
Complexity
This role involves managing a complex freight, warehousing, and distribution network, requiring problem-solving skills, cultural awareness, and change management capabilities.
Accountability
The individual will be responsible for data collection and reporting to support product flow from manufacturing to third-party warehouses across EU/UK/OW.
Relationships
Maintain effective relationships with internal functions including Manufacturing, Warehousing, Quality Partners, Distributors, and transport providers.
* Good interpersonal skills
* 5 GCSGs—C or above, including Maths & English
Desirable Skills, Experience & Competencies:
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical transport, warehousing, and distribution operations
* Experience in continuous improvement
* A second language (Western European)
