Behaviour Mentor - Windsor Primary and Secondary students aged 11-16 years old Are you an advocate for promoting positive mental health? Do you want to build a career centered around helping people? An exciting opportunity in Windsorhas arisen for a Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist school for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and for those who have been excluded from mainstream education. Some of the students also have learning disabilities alongside their SEMH needs. The position will be working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils with challenging behavioural needs and your role will be to build positive relationships with these students to encourage them to make positive choices and to support them in learning how to regulate their emotions. This is a full-time long-term position to start ASAP. The students with these mental health and special educational needs are aged 11-16 so running from KS3 to KS4. The successful behaviour mentor will be responsible for managing and de-escalating behaviour, whilst helping to build the students self-esteem and facilitate learning.
