What will you be doing?
- Assisting with cleaning busy kitchen areas
- Greeting and welcoming visitors; highlighting daily menus and answering questions
- Clearing tables to help keep our catering units tidy
- Gathering feedback from visitors and reporting back to the team to help continuously improve our offer
What are we looking for?
- Excellent people skills; Friendly and approachable
- Customer service champion
- Strong teamworking skills
- Ability to tackle tasks independently
- An interest in Black Country heritage (desirable)
Expected start date
Our aim is to invite the successful candidate(s) to a Volunteer Induction Day on Tuesday 26th August 2025, so we ask that you keep this date in mind when submitting your application.

We ensure that the revolutionary story of the Black Country’s industrial landscape – the first ever of its kind in the UK – is celebrated by generations.
