With a clear mission to deliver resilient and sustainable heating, they play a vital role in supporting the UK’s net-zero ambitions.We are now seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to join the team and support the successful delivery of decarbonisation and optimisation initiatives across an existing portfolio of heat networks. This is a technically focused role, where you’ll contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of capital works—ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with long-term sustainability goals. It’s an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to make a meaningful contribution to the low-carbon energy transition.Key Responsibilities:Support the implementation of capital projects including system upgrades, low-carbon transitions, and interconnection worksDefine project scopes, assess feasibility, and collaborate with engineering and asset management teamsManage relationships with contractors, consultants, and other delivery partnersTrack progress against programme, cost, and quality metrics, ensuring high standards are maintainedContribute to the company’s net-zero strategy by ensuring technical solutions support decarbonisation goalsRequirementsDegree or relevant qualification in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, energy systems)Experience delivering infrastructure or energy projects—knowledge of heat networks, CHP, HVAC or similar is a plusConfident coordinating contractors, consultants, and stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary environmentStrong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skillsPassion for low-carbon technologies and the transition to sustainable energyTo find out more, please apply via LinkedIn or email karam@venogytalent.com!
