Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of contracts from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Duties
* Develop, negotiate, and finalise contracts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Review and analyse contract terms and conditions to identify risks and opportunities.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure all contractual obligations are met effectively.
* Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation for audit purposes.
* Provide guidance and support to team members regarding contract-related queries.
* Conduct regular training sessions on contract management best practices for staff.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to contract management.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role within a relevant industry.
* Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex documents.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
