We support individuals in their own homes, assisting those with a variety of health needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, physical disabilities, and those requiring assistance with personal care. We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team and help make a real difference in the lives of the individuals we support.
Role Details
Role Type: Part Time and Full Time positions available.
Hours: 16-36 hours (Bank contracts also available).
Shift Patterns: Vary - Please discuss on interview.

Responsibilities
* As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for helping individuals live healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives by assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and enabling access to the local community.
* Assist with personal care needs and medication management, ensuring a clean and safe living environment.
* Support individuals to live independently by encouraging daily activities such as meal preparation, budgeting, and personal care.
* Administer medication following protocols, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible home environment.
* Promote healthy relationships and support positive connections with family, friends, and the wider community.
* Provide practical and emotional support for day-to-day activities, including shopping, appointments, social activities, and hobbies.
* Assist individuals in accessing community resources and activities to enhance social inclusion and well-being.
* Occasionally accompany individuals outside the home for activities such as hospital visits, holidays, or appointments.
* Support independence and individuality, respecting personal preferences and choices.
* Report to the Service Manager and ensure care plans are followed.
What You’ll Bring
* A caring and compassionate attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact well with individuals with diverse needs.
* Experience in a support setting.
* Knowledge of person-centred care principles.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and willingness to provide support outside of the home setting when required.
* Alternative weekend availability.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
* A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
