Are you an experienced senior leader looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Hythehill Primary School in Lossiemouth is seeking a Head Teacher to lead their vibrant school community, raise aspirations, and ensure each pupil shines brightly.
Hythehill Primary School is a non-denominational school located in the coastal town of Lossiemouth, serving areas to the south and west of the town. The school caters to a diverse catchment, with approximately half of its pupils coming from local families and nearly half from Armed Forces backgrounds. It is part of the Lossiemouth Associated School Group, which includes St Gerardine Primary School, Hopeman Primary School, Burghead Primary School, and Lossiemouth High School.
Requirements
1. Provide professional leadership and management of the school, ensuring the safety of all pupils and the effective operation of the school to benefit pupils and the community.
2. Implement policies set by the education authority under the guidance of the Head of Education (Chief Education Officer).
3. Lead and manage learning and teaching.
4. Develop staff, children, and young people.
5. Lead change and school improvement initiatives.
6. Use resources effectively.
7. Build and foster community relationships.
The Individual
Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for working with children is required. A relocation package of £5400 (excluding VAT) may be available for this position.
