We are looking for a Creative Studio Manager who will look after, project manage and align our internal Creative Media, Editing and Marketing teams.Your roles and responsibilities will be to:Play a crucial role in managing the Creative Media teams day-to-day operationsManage Editors, Illustrators and Animators, both employed by us and freelance workers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, while also ensuring the highest quality of standardsEnsure that the correct processes have been followed, all our Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and up to date and our brand criteria is met for every piece of content that is createdBe able to collaborate with colleagues across the business to build robust project resource plans and implement them effectivelyFacilitate communication between our Teaching and Learning team, Sales and Marketing teams with the Creative Media and Editing teamEnsuring the Creative Media, Editing and Marketing team and individual targets have been set and met after realistic time schedules have been agreedLead a weekly meeting to manage the allocation and scheduling of resources across the Creative Media, Editing and Marketing teamQuality control the final product along with our Deputy Head of Teaching and LearningQuality control the brand along with our COOIdentify skills gaps, training needs and staffing needs for the Creative Media, Editing and Marketing teamOverseeing operations and ensuring efficiency and organisation within the Creative Media, Editing and Marketing teamBe the tech guru of the team and being willing/able to jump in and assist during busy periodsManaging general HR enquiries and escalating if necessaryEnsuring all systems are streamlined and up-to-date and staff are fully trained to minimise risk and wastageBe accountable for the teams operational and business performanceAd hoc team support when requiredThe successful applicant must have:Excellent understanding of creative media, editing, marketing and the skills and qualifications needed to be effective in a Creative Media teamA deep understanding of SEOExperience (2 years) of working within a marketing teamThe ability to coach the team to grow their skills and grow professionally, to ensure you are building an absolute best-in-class creative media teamProven track record (2 years) in managing a successful internal or external studio or Creative Media, Editing and Marketing team that can effortlessly run multiple projects simultaneouslyGreat attention to detailAbility to problem solve creativelyUnderstanding of project lifecycle and processPrior experience in a similar role within educationAbility to operate within a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, written and verbal, organisational and problem-solving abilitiesPrevious experience in successfully managing a small but rapidly growing teamProactive team player who can work collaboratively with a Senior Leadership teamAbility to receive and give constructive feedback with grace and professionalismSelf-starter and highly autonomous workerAction-oriented and confident presenting solutions alongside problemsManage the creative process from conception to deliveryHighly motivated to train independently and share knowledge learnt with the teamStrategic thinker with superb creative skillsProficient in Adobe Creative SuiteSalary starting at £35000 with bonusMonday to Friday 08.30am to 5pm.This role is office based in Sheffield.
