About the School
Located in Huddersfield, our school provides a safe and supportive environment for pupils aged 7 to 18.

Role Responsibilities
* Support one pupil or a small group (maximum six)
* Support the classroom teacher during lessons
* Report on progress and concerns, liaising with school staff
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips
* Assist with lesson planning and preparation
* Set work and mark where appropriate
* Build positive relationships and support learning outcomes
Requirements
* Strong basic education (minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT skills
* Experience in a similar role (teaching assistant desirable)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
* Ability to take responsibility for areas such as food hygiene, forest school or activities
* Experience of behaviour management
* Commitment to professional development
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
